Hi! I'm Jane and welcome to Elizabeth Priscilla

How it all began
I started Elizabeth Priscilla (or EP as I affectionately call her) from a lust for sparking joy and putting smiles on faces. It all began with my 94 year old Grandma, who is a social butterfly. She lives in a retirement home, and once the pandemic hit it meant we couldn’t visit, isolating her from her loved ones. She’s hard of hearing meaning phone calls weren't an option, so I began writing letters to stay connected and spark some joy in both of our lives. When I started getting letters back from her I began to look forward to getting the mail, to see what little nugget of happiness would be waiting. I quickly realized how much I needed not only that connection, but also positivity in the form of something physical, like a card.
From there I started dropping little notes and treats off to friends and family, wanting to put a smile on their faces - little did I know it energized me and made my day too. This is when I came up with the idea of Elizabeth Priscilla, a boutique online shop selling pre-postage gratefulness postcards.

A little about me

I’m born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo

I’ve always had a zest for life, adventure, and having a great time

I have 3 amazing sons (two of my own and one step-son), and a wonderful partner who supports my wild ideas

I have dealt with mental health issues throughout my life and am a supporter of seeking the necessary help one needs

I’ve travelled to some incredible places, and look forward to more adventures

I pretend I like baths but I really don’t…raisin toes ain’t my jam

My favourite colour is rainbow (thanks to my creative niece for coining that colour option!)

During my regular days I run corporate events. It has been a passion of mine since watching the Wedding Planner (thanks JLo) - creating memorable experiences, engaging communities, and executing high-end events is my jam.
